I've tired it a few times now - even Get the 40 Ton Super Soul. Equip it and do the first few PQs that are unlocked as well as all the Master missions for Piccolo, Krillin, Tien, and Yamcha. Yes it sucks redoing that stuff, but that's 16 missions (I think) that are available after the first story fight with Raditz.
