It's now on it's repeatable mission that will grant you random "reward" when you visit those computers it is sending you to. It's much like the Exocraft guy and his repeatable mission. Before you go to the trouble of deleting your base, try making another. You will likely have the usual issue of the teleporter saying the quest is at base A, but you get to base A and there's no icon, but you go to base B and there it is. And there is little that you get from the base quests that you cannot buy.
