Beaver and Thorny both seem to have the best wood gathering attacks while Mammoth has the best wood weight reduction.Castoroides have great wood rates and have some decent weight reductions. But Mammoths are king. Even a low level one will outshine most other dinos for wood gathering. They have amazing wood reduction, combined with a high weight stat, a large area of effect when stomping for wood. You will not regret it. They are also an early level saddle.Theris are amazing multipurpose dinos, which is why they are to be considered as a high end tame. They farm Fiber, berries, wood and thatch at very high effectiveness. A dino usually has just one or two of those on high efficiancy.
