Razor Caltrops was a big part of Stamina AoE DPS till Scalebreaker, where they changed Razor Caltrops to now inflict Major Fracture alongside a large damage nerf. I don't know a single person who uses Anti-Cavalry Caltrops, perhaps it's time to rework the skill so one can apply Major Fracture, and the other can be a functional Stamina AoE …On threads like these, could you describe the changes being made that you're discussing, or link to them? Anyway, I use razor caltrops on my stamblade, someone eli5 me the changes and why were they required? As you and 23 others face roll solo/small groups your caltrops will come eventually. Razor caltrops (the morph) does initial damage, slows them down and damage over time. Its also a fairly big area so its useful to put down in a doorway or wall breach as anyone coming through will take damage.
