The quick & simple answer is that new 2025R is a 1025R with larger wheels. The new 2025R specs are very close to the 1025R specs. It all depends on what you are planning to do with the tractor. There is not a bit of green on it that looks like the current JD green. Although not a perfect match, the color looks more like the older JD green. When the engine gets too hot, it kills the PTO to remove the load from the engine and let it cool down.
