I recently purchased an Asrock J5040 itx motherboard which uses the Intel Pentium Silver J5040.Before I had a Raspberry Pi and there were some files the Pi could just not transcode. I'm running jellyfin in a docker container on debian 10 server on an old hp-prodesk i5 4670. I managed to pick up a NVIDIA quadro p600 for a decent prices so wanted to add it to the system for hw transcodes. It looks like HWA transcoding is working with the config above, I am able to play a SDR movie no problem with around 14% GPU usage. However, HWA transcoding does not work with HDR content. If anyone knows how to get HWA to work with HDR and tone mapping, please let me know.
