Dragon arrows are ridiculously cheap to use because a tbow is a 5 tick weapon. Also bp wasn’t bis at most bosses, the twisted bow was. Bp was simply a nice weapon for people too poor for a tbow. If it's anything like the original Nex, then only shadow phase is ranged. With 99 range/pegs crystal bow with crystal armor actually outperforms even blowpipe ammy darts at Mystics, Olm Head, but is much worse at tightrope and Muttadiles, 6.9DPS - 8.09 DPS for cbow/bp.
