Hi, I've been searching to find some good monk builds, and I would appreciate if you can tell me what you think is good for a single class monk build. I play with a party in POTD upscaled. ... It employs the E dér's armor + Keeper of the Flame + Imagined Pain combo that Boeroer mentioned. It was loads of fun, and is really OP once you hit level 16.

I recently started playing Deadfire, played 2 builds to lvl 20 so far, finished FS and all the main questlines (with reloads). In PoE1 I really liked tanky dps frontliners for my watcher, I played moon godlike barb and fire godlike monk and they just smashed content on POTD, however I have difficulty finding such high dps frontline tank builds in Deadfire. I've put points into CON which is not needed.Shattered Pillar Monk doesnt receive dmg per wound as other monks do.So stats should be some...2. i'm not a monk expert, but afaict there's nothing particular about forbidden fist that makes it good for wotw, right? i mean, wotw is a decent skill regardless. but you would have to be careful - you would probably want a shield, and even with tuolito's palm equipping a shield will reduce the damage potential of wotw.
Perception is almost never "The Best" stat. It's important, sure, but DEX or INT are way stronger in most situations, at least for physical DPS builds. 5 PER is 5 accuracy. 5 DEX is 15% action speed (multiplicative damage increase) 5 INT is 50% larger AOE and 25% longer buffs/debuffs. 5 MIG is 15% damage.
