Ableton is like a modular synth. You need to add some reverb to give the sound space. Some saturation for warmth, layer it with another instrument else to give weight. Add some EQ to clean up the sound. Hello! I'm a bit of a newbie when it comes to Ableton, and I've been having some issues with the monitoring aspect of the audio input. I can hear the mic just fine when the monitoring is off, but I can't hear any effects that I've added to the audio channel.Sampler is awesome for creating “real” instruments though. I can sample all the strings of my guitar at different velocities. Add them all into sampler. So it bounces an audio track with all of the effects on the track. This doesnt bounce the track with bus sends.
