Earth without the dinosaur-killing meteor. Them's there raptors that haven't learned how to open doors yet. It would actually be really neat to see a primitive Earth having both stone-age humans and another genus homo species, probably neanderthal. Of course making the neanderthals pre-sapient in that context would not be doing reality justice.May 19, 2016 · 2 Answers. No, ships with Sentient AI will not join the AI Rebellion if it happens in your game. With the Sythentic Dawn DLC, there is at least one drawback for sentient AI equipped ships. Ps jumo drive is worth it unless you hate Extradimensional Invaders, and Sapient AI is definetly worth it if you do not own robots since it by itself does not trigger the Contigency. Sapient has 5% dps and defence or range over precog. Precog has 10 tracking. ("usually"). As at this point in the game, even battleships had non zero evasion, precog was worth it. But with the rebalance battleship evasion isn't ...You need to not research either synths or sapient combat computers, or take the option that patches your AI when offered. Synths are relevant, you can't research either that or sapient combat computers. Having either of those technologies will trigger the event. You get more fire rate and +10 more tracking (40 vs. 30) over a Sapient computer. The only thing that Sapient offers that Precognitive doesn't is a +10% evasion boost, but Destroyers aren't really "dodge-tanks" like Corvettes can be. Line computers - this one I find interesting.
