Vex Mythoclast Drop Rates It’s been 67 runs of Vault of Glass and I’ve still haven’t gotten vex, 51 looted clears and the exotic won’t drop for me. I’ve been grinding since week one, done all the challenges for the seal, and still vex can’t even drop for me. Bungie, there is clearly an issue with your drop rate configuration on the Vex Mythoclast if people are completing the raid 3 times per week every week since the raid was available without having the weapon drop. Thus the initial drop rate is 1% and increases by 0.25% per clear. We can write our drop rate formula as: D (n) = 0.0025* (n-1) + 0.001. Lots of other people have claimed the drop rate is 5% with no bad luck protection.

This DOESN'T mean that if you go run 4 lost sectors right now that you'll have 1 exotic to show for it. Unfortunately, the drop rate for Vex Mythoclast is a thing of great mystery right now. No one is sure just how regularly it’ll drop.
