If a Lich is present in the node it will convert nearby enemies into thralls as well at the same rate. So you can have on average a thrall every 20 seconds or so if you don't kill the lich.Simply put, they (like most non-meta companions) are redundant. Companions are only useful for two things- damage, and utility, the former falling off in usefulness within endgame content since companion weapons/damage are poor, and hounds not providing much in the way of the latter because they're pretty clearly designed for combat.According to my expert opinion the best hound is..... Jul 11, 2021 · While hounds DO have a melee slot , they cannot take advantage of most of the scaling mods (combo , heavy etc), and they cannot take advantage of the ludicrous crit and damage mods available to beast companions. I also don't know if range and speed mods do anything. Basically : more slots but less effective mods for hounds and their melee weapons, The Model is one of the crafting components used to create MOAs and Hounds in Fortuna.
